• This is strictly a first come first served competition.

• No alternative prizes or cash will be offered

• If the prize is not claimed in the set period it will become void and no refund in full or part will be given

• All available stay dates and cottages will be made available to the winner once the prize is claimed but will be subject to first come first served as they will be left available for sale to the open market
   

Dates for your Diary:

• 1st October 2018 to February 9th 2019. Cottage availability is selected dates during this period. Do NOT enter if you are not flexible between these dates

• 20th April 2018 Competition announced on website

• 1st May 2018 Entries open

• 31st July 2018 Entries close

• 11th August 2018 draw will be made at the Duchy Nursery Lostwithiel

• 11th August winner will be contacted to confirm draw and claim prize

• 18th August Runner up will be notified and claim prize by default (if winner does not claim prize)

• 11th to 31st August Is the period the winner will be offered selected dates by the Duchy Cottage Management to make their booking for the prize

• 1st January 2019 The competition is closed and archived and any associated information by me and or the Duchy Nursery is no longer valid.  
  
   

The really boring but important Stuff - Terms and Conditions:

• This competition commences 1st May 2018 and final entries close on 31st July 2018.

• Winning entrants will be notified by email using contact details provided in their purchase of The Island Legacy Competition Edition.

• The winner selected on the 11th August will be published on the Ruth Saberton website and Facebook page by 12th August 2018.

• This is a random lottery; the winner will be drawn by random by the Manager of the Duchy Holiday Cottage or a representative designated by them.

• The holiday provider, Duchy Cottages may provide an alternative accommodation if the intended accommodation should be unavailable for any reason.
  The promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the draw or decision process is final and binding on every person that applies. No correspondence will be entered into.

• The winner will be contacted by email to confirm details and claim prize. This correspondence will be considered binding. If the winner is unable to be contacted or cannot claim the prize at the time of notification or during the set dates for the break this will pass to the 2nd and then 3rd entrants drawn.  Failure to accept / claim the prize by return email will result in the offer being rescinded and passed to the next entrant drawn.

• The prize package is subject to change without notice and may be modified to suit each entrant’s individual requirements. Disability etc

• The competition claimed or unclaimed will be considered closed from January 2019.

• It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that by participating in this competition, they are able to take advantage of this break during the period and selected dates as no alternatives in date or cash will be given

• As this is a lottery draw no refunds can be given

• Prize entries will be sent by options listed. We will not be responsible for items lost in the post so please bear this in mind when ordering. A record / proof of posting is kept but please select the option that you are most comfortable with. Special delivery is available with a guaranteed, traceable, signed for service.
